Megaman's Elder Brother. Light created him first, but there was an energy imbalance in his systems. Not wanting Light to take a look inside and fix it for fear of being reprogrammed, Protoman fled. He and Megaman still work together.

Dr. Wily's attempt at being better than Megaman. Is almost as powerful, and much more agile. Since Bass' defeat at Megaman's hands, Bass has made it his goal to defeat him

The brilliant scientist who created Megaman. Frequently thinks up and later implements new ways to help megaman in the battle aginst Dr. Wily.
